Abstract
This Residency Curriculum Resource (RCR) is a peer-reviewed resource exploring the importance of developing and applying cultural awareness to clinical care. The resource was developed for Family Medicine educators to use when teaching PGY2/3 residents and includes a PowerPoint presentation, facilitator’s guide and quiz. Topics covered in the RCR include bias, cultural humility, equitable healthcare, cultural resources and nonverbal communication. The RCR is published by the Association of Family Medicine Residency Directors (AFMRD) and Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM) and is offered on STFM’s website to its members.
