Abstract
Neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD) is an autoimmune inflammatory disease of the central nervous system (CNS), characterized by Th17 cell responses and serum antibodies against the water channel aquaporin-4 (AQP4) on astrocytes.
