Description
LVH Cedar Crest Central Nervous System (CNS) Units Opens - A six bed specialty care unit for neurological/neurosurgical patients opened in the end of January on 6A. According to Carolyn Eberhardt, RN., Assistant Head Nurse, 6A, the unit will offer continuity of care to these patients in an environment designed for optimum CNS care. The 6A nursing staff, which has been involved in neurological care for many years, has been specially trained for the unit by taking intensive care modules of the critical care course.
