Help Desk Answers: Do corticosteroids reduce bronchiolitis hospitalizations?

Abstract
Corticosteroids alone don't decrease hospital admissions or length of stay among children with bronchiolitis. Combining oral dexamethasone and inhaled epinephrine appears to prevent one hospital admission for every 11 patients treated.
