Resolution of oliguria in a pre-eclamptic after treatment with magnesium sulfate.

Abstract
Oliguria is shown to resolve repeatedly in a woman with severe pre-eclampsia after two successive infusions of magnesium sulfate. The hypothesized mechanisms is relaxation of renal arteriolar vasospasm.
