Abstract
The cost of pressure ulcer prevention is significantly less than treatment. The Agency for Health Care Policy and Research was formed recently to develop clinical practice guidelines for healthcare professionals. This article discusses methods in which nurse managers can implement the guideline: "Pressure Ulcers in Adults: Prediction and Prevention".
