Abstract
Artificial intelligence surrounds us today, with its derivative ChatGPT suddenly capturing everyone's attention. Pertinent to our medical literature is the capability of this chatbot to generate original and quite impressive text suitable for the format of any journal. However, risks not yet determined need further investigation before this approach will be suitable to allow unimpeded progress in our specialty.
