Abstract
In a previous study, we found a variety of inverse associations between the occurrence of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and the occurrence of various forms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), as well as microscopic colitis (MC) and its 2 subtypes of lymphocytic and collagenous colitis.
