Computed tomography of intracerebral gangliogliomas.

Abstract
CT and clinical findings in 6 histologically proven cases of intracerebral gangliogliomas (out of 14,000 cranial CT examinations) are presented. The tumor is most often isodense, with areas of calcification. Even though CT findings are nonspecific, they are suggestive of the benign nature of the tumor. When this is histologically confirmed (by biopsy) the more aggressive forms of treatment may be obviated.
